A stir fry can be a delicious and fun way to eat a variety of different coloured vegetables! Find out how the recipe can be modified from 6-12 months and beyond!
Recipes serves for 6 people
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of rice (uncooked)
- 1 large carrot
- 1 broccoli, roughly chopped
- 1 red capcisum, deseeded and sliced
- 1 medium zucchini, sliced
- 350g chicken thigh fillets
- 1/2 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 clove crushed garlic
- 1/4 cup honey soy sauce
Method:
- Cook the rice based on the packet instructions
- Cut chicken into strips
- heat oil in pan, add chicken and garlic and cook until brown and cooked through
- Add broccoli, carrot and capsicum and cook for 3 minutes
- Add zucchini and continue to cook vegetables
- Add sauce and coat chicken and vegetables
- Stir and cook until vegetables are tender
- Serve with rice and enjoy 🙂
