Our experienced midwife Sheree and qualified lactation consultant Sonya are here to support local parents on their breastfeeding journeys.
Located at Community Health on 125 Campbell Street Swan Hill you can come in for an appointment or the Breastfeeding Support team can do a home visit!

The Breastfeeding Support Team can help with:
- Assisting breastfeeding
- Sore and cracked nipples
- Nipple pain and trauma
- Engorgement
- Mastitis
- Blocked ducts
- Expressing help and advice
- Attachment technique help
- Assistance to teach baby to feed without a nipple shield
- General infant feeding challenges including bottle support
- Improving baby’s weight gain
- Weighing of baby and checking wellness
- Emotional support
- Return to work and continuing breastfeeding
- Weaning
- Referral to other services
Antenatal Breastfeeding Sessions
Join our Breastfeeding Support for a one-hour session to learn about breastfeeding before your baby is born. These sessions are FREE and open to women and their partners at any stage of pregnancy .
When: monthly sessions or individual consults available, booking required.

Breastfeeding Group
Come together with other parents and carers to find support and share experiences of your infant feeding journey.
A FREE community group with our local Breastfeeding Support in attendance most weeks to help answer any of your questions.
When: first Thursday of each month, 9.30am—11am
