Information about the Clinic An hour-long multidisciplinary screening clinic is provided for babies/children born prematurely – more than 4 weeks before their expected due date. A Speech Pathologist, Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist screen for age appropriate milestones at several key ages up until near school age. The clinic provides age-appropriate advice and education for families and provides multidisciplinary management of allied health related conditions if required. Following the screen, the team will determine whether your child requires any further one on one sessions with an Allied Health Practitioner, future Prematurity Clinic screening or assistance in referrals to other services.
